Brighton, Colorado
McDA designed this new 1,366 square foot facility for the City of Brighton for one of their city-owned cemeteries. This facility functions primarily as a storage and maintenance building for a tractor, two mowers and other miscellaneous landscaping and burial equipment. In addition, it incorporates a space with the dual purpose of providing a meeting room to discuss plot purchases with potential customers, as well as a break area for the maintenance workers. A large covered plaza is provided at the entry, and the building is further supported by a public toilet with exterior access only.
